Garrettstown
Garrettstown is a good beach for beginners, it picks up plenty of swell and the wave itself isn't too fast for beginners.

Inchydoney
Inchydoney hs a wide variety of breaks to suit everyone, generally a good longboarding wave but sometimes good for shortboarders too.

Castlefreke
Castlefreke picks up the most swell in Cork and is faster and heavier than both Garrettstown and Inchydoney, favoured by more experienced surfers it is not suitable for beginners.
